Are Two 625W Panels Suitable for Itel Power Tank 1000W/2000Wh?
The proposed configuration uses two 625W panels, giving a combined nominal panel rating of 1250W.
The specified power station has a maximum solar PV input rating of 1200W. Therefore, its usable solar input cannot exceed the permitted maximum, and the panels’ electrical characteristics must also comply with the manufacturer’s limits.
Before connecting the panels, confirm:
- Maximum permitted PV input voltage.
- Maximum permitted PV input current.
- Panel open-circuit voltage (Voc).
- Panel maximum-power voltage (Vmp).
- Panel short-circuit current (Isc).
- Panel maximum-power current (Imp).
- Correct series or parallel connection.
- Connector compatibility.
The panels must be configured according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not connect panels based on wattage alone.
4. How Much Does It Cost to Install Itel Power Tank Pro?
Installation expenses depend on how you intend to use the power station.
A portable power station used indoors for AC charging may require little or no installation beyond following the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
A solar charging arrangement can require additional work, particularly when panels must be mounted on a roof, cables must pass through walls or protective devices must be installed.
Factors That Affect Installation Costs
Panel mounting: A roof installation may require mounting rails, brackets, fasteners and appropriate weatherproofing. Ground-mounted panels may require a different structure.
Cable length: Longer distances between panels and the power station may require additional cable and suitable connectors.
Roof accessibility: Difficult-to-access roofs can increase labour requirements and safety precautions.
Electrical protection: Appropriate protection depends on the system design, the equipment instructions and local electrical requirements.
Cable routing: Concealed or protected wiring may require more labour than a simple, accessible arrangement.
Location: Labour and transportation expenses can differ between Lagos and other Nigerian locations.
System complexity: A setup involving multiple panels, longer cable runs or additional electrical equipment may require more work than a basic portable arrangement.
Should You Pay for Professional Installation?
For a simple portable power station, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use only compatible accessories.
For roof-mounted solar panels, permanent wiring or electrical work requiring protective devices, consider a qualified solar installer. Proper installation can help prevent unsafe wiring, poor connections, water ingress and avoidable equipment damage.
Request an itemised installation quotation before approving any work.
Because installation requirements vary, it would be misleading to quote one fixed installation price for every Nigerian household.
5. Do You Need Solar Cables and Connectors for Itel Power Tank Pro?
You may need additional cables and connectors if the supplied package does not contain the components required for your solar arrangement.
Solar cables carry power from the panels to the power station. Their size and length must be suitable for the system’s voltage, current and installation conditions.
What Determines Solar Cable Costs?
- Cable length.
- Conductor size.
- Current-carrying requirements.
- Insulation and environmental rating.
- Connector type.
- Cable routing and installation method.
Longer cables can increase cost and electrical losses. Using an unsuitable cable can create overheating or performance problems.
Before buying cables, check the power station’s connector specifications and the solar panel’s output connections.
Do not assume that all solar connectors are interchangeable. Ask the seller or installer to confirm compatibility.
6. Does Itel Power Tank Pro Need a Solar Mounting Structure?
A mounting structure is needed when the panels are to be installed in a fixed position and the selected mounting arrangement requires one.
For example, roof-mounted panels may require rails, brackets and fasteners suitable for the roof material. Ground-mounted panels may need a separate frame or support structure.
The total cost depends on the number of panels, installation location, materials and labour.
Can You Use Solar Panels Without Roof Installation?
Depending on the panel design and the manufacturer’s instructions, panels may be positioned on a suitable ground-level support instead of being permanently mounted on a roof.
However, they must be placed securely, positioned for adequate sunlight and protected against foreseeable damage.
A temporary arrangement may reduce mounting work, but it still needs safe positioning, weather awareness and suitable cable management.
Confirm the recommended panel arrangement with the manufacturer or a qualified installer.
7. What Protective Devices May Add to the Installation Cost?
Depending on the installation design, additional protective equipment may be necessary.
Potential items include suitable overcurrent protection, isolators, surge protection, earthing components and protective enclosures.
Not every portable solar setup requires every item, and the correct arrangement depends on the equipment instructions and applicable electrical requirements.
Why Is Electrical Protection Important?
Appropriate protection helps manage specific electrical risks, including overcurrent, surges and unsafe wiring conditions.
For rooftop installations, the installer should also consider cable protection, weather exposure, mechanical damage and the grounding or earthing arrangements required for the equipment.
Do not select protective devices solely by price. They must be rated appropriately for the circuit and installed correctly.
Ask the installer to explain which devices are required and why they are included in the quotation.
8. What Are the Specifications of Itel Power Tank 1000W/2000Wh?

What Does the 2000Wh Battery Capacity Mean?
A 2000Wh battery stores a nominal 2kWh of energy.
In simplified terms, a 200W appliance running for five hours consumes approximately 1000Wh, while the same appliance running for ten hours consumes approximately 2000Wh.
Actual operating time will be shorter than theoretical calculations in many cases because of inverter losses, usable-capacity limits and variations in appliance consumption.
What Does the 1000W Output Rating Mean?
The 1000W rating describes the specified maximum output power.
The combined wattage of connected appliances must remain within the station’s operating limits. Appliances with motors or compressors may draw additional power when starting.
Before connecting a refrigerator, freezer, pump or other high-starting-current appliance, check its running wattage and starting requirements.
9. How Much Does Delivery of Itel Power Tank Pro Cost in Nigeria?
Delivery costs depend on the seller’s terms, the destination, the size of the order and the transport method.
Nature Solar Global Enterprises advertises delivery throughout Nigeria, including same-day delivery in Lagos and next-day delivery outside Lagos. These are the seller’s stated delivery arrangements; actual availability and timing should be confirmed for your address.
Before paying, ask:
- Is delivery included in the quoted price?
- Is same-day delivery available for your Lagos location?
- What is the expected delivery time outside Lagos?
- Are solar panels delivered with the power station?
- Will the panels and power station arrive together?

10. How Can You Reduce the Total Cost of Itel Power Tank Pro?
There are several practical ways to control your total expenditure without compromising compatibility or safety.
Buy Only the Accessories You Need
Check which cables, connectors and accessories are already included before purchasing extras.
Compare Complete Quotations
Ask different suppliers to quote for the same model, the same number of solar panels and the same accessories.
Confirm Panel Compatibility Before Purchase
Buying incompatible panels or cables can create unnecessary expenses and delays.
Request Wholesale Pricing
If you need several units or are purchasing for a business, ask whether the supplier offers a wholesale rate.
Plan the Installation Before Ordering
Determine where the panels will be placed and how cables will reach the power station. This can help avoid buying the wrong cable length or unnecessary mounting materials.
Verify Warranty Coverage
Compare the warranty for the power station and solar panels. Ask whether accessories and installation work have separate warranty conditions.
The goal is to obtain a suitable system at a clear total price, not simply to choose the lowest advertised figure.
